This September, Italy comes to Cathedral Square! From September 10 – 11 head into Cathedral Square to enjoy a host of free, family-friendly activities outside on the lawn.

In collaboration with Festival Italia, the State Buildings and Cathedral Square will be celebrating everything there is to love about Italy.
Witness two chefs joining forces to showcase the best of Italian cuisine in a not-to-be-missed dinner series. Try your hand at a bocce workshop or indulge in Italian inspired menus and beverages at Post, Petition Wine Bar & Merchant and Halford. [Learn more]

Wildflower Restaurant presents Roberto Dal Seno & Jed Gerrard Collaboration Dinners

Italian cuisine visits Wildflower during Festival Italia. COMO The Treasury’s Executive Ched Jed Gerrard and guest chef from Italy, Roberto Dal Seno, join forces to deliver a four-course menu to mark the festival launch. To celebrate the end of the festival, this not-to-be-missed dinner will showcase the best of Italy’s most premium wines. Roberto Dal Seno will join Jed Gerrard in a collaboration of culinary talent. Head Chef Kim Brennan will be showcasing the best in Italian cuisine with a number of menu specials in the lead up to Festival Italia. Indulge in Wagin duck bolognese with green olive and parmesan, or kingfish crudo with pickled radish, pomegranate and citrus vinaigrette. [Learn more]

Aperol Pop-Up Bar at Petition Wine Bar & Merchant. 1-11 Sept.
Refreshing with a hint of sweetness, the Aperol Spritz makes for the perfect springtime apéritivo. Petition Wine Bar & Merchant will be serving up a selection of Aperol and Campari based drinks from the pop-up bar in Postal Hall. The Aperol Spritz bar will be open daily from 5pm. [Learn more]

Drinking Italy: FEUDO ARANCIO WINES at Petition Wine Bar & Merchant. 7 Sept.

Italian Beer Showcase at Petition Beer Corner. 10-11 Sept.
Petition Beer Corner will feature a selection of unique Italian beers serving them cold from the tap for the weekend of Festival Italia.

Free Family Activities @Cathedral Square. 10-11 Sept.
Italian festivities continue all weekend outside on the Cathedral Square lawn with free family activities! Try your hand at bocce and join a workshop, watch the Italian car showcase featuring Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Ferrari, or taste the flavours of Italy from the Chi Cho Gelato cart. Kids can be entertained at the children’s Italian storytelling and craft corner or test out their skills at a free soccer workshop! 12pm-4pm. [Learn more]
